Flower Watching in Vancouver

Sometimes people liken something boring to 'watching the grass grow.'

But new spring plants and flowers are beautiful, and taking a moment to take it all in can do wonders for a person's spirit.

Just ask the members of the Vancouver Japanese Language Meetup Group.

At a recent Hanami Picnic, members gathered in the park under cherry blossoms, shared food and drinks, and had a great time appreciating the beauty of nature.

What a great, low-key Meetup! We should all take a moment to watch the flowers more often.
