Member profiles help people get to know one another before and after the face-to-face Meetup. Did you know that you can add questions specific to your group? For example, if you run a Pug Owners' Meetup Group, you could ask the name and age of their dog, and invite them to tell their favorite pug story. If you organize a Spanish Language Meetup, you could ask what level of Spanish they speak, and where they learned it. Think of these as icebreakers.
To add questions, click Group Settings on the left-hand side of your group home page. Click the Your Members link. Click Add profile questions.
You can add up to five extra questions. These will appear automatically when members fill out or update their profiles. We recommend that you send a brief note to current members inviting them to update their profiles with answers to the new questions. To inspire them, send them your own answers!
