Ideas for Meetups!

It’s now even easier for members to learn about new ideas for Meetups, vote for ideas they like and let group organizers know what Meetups they would like to see happen!

When posting an idea for a Meetup…

The idea will now show up in three places - the ‘Latest activity’ section on the group’s home page, the ‘What’s happening?’ section on your Meetup home page (shown below) and the ‘Latest activity’ section on your member profile page.

Also, we’ll send an email to members to let them know about the new idea. Members can turn these emails off in their new group email settings page.

When members vote for an idea…

The votes will show up in the same three places. Also, we’ll send an email to whoever posted the idea, and the group’s organizers, to let them know about the vote. Both the idea poster and the group’s organizers can turn this email notification off for each idea.

Thanks!
