A month ago, we launched the ability to bring your own Google Analytics code so that you could see web stats and analytics for your group. Now, we have launched a new feature, so you can start to see Stats reflecting your Group members’ activity.Starting right now for those groups using the new view, you will see a new menu item called ‘Stats’. It’s under ‘More’ in the top navigation bar for your Group.
On the Stats page, you can toggle between three reports:
- Group Joins
- Total and Active Members (an active member being someone who has visited your group site in the last 30 days to do something)
You can choose to see only the past week, only the past 3 months, or the entire history of your Meetup Group for any of those 3 reports.
By default, only Orgs (and Assistant Orgs) can see this data. But if you’d like, you can change this to allow all your members to see, or you can make this section completely public.
As I mentioned, we are hoping to continue to add other interesting reports and data to this, but for now, we hope you have fun with this new feature.
