Post to the Latest activity feed!

Do you have a quick announcement, article or reminder that you want to share with members? As an Organizer, you can now add posts to the ‘Latest activity’ feed and email them to members (if you’d like) right from your Meetup Group’s home page!

Here’s how it works:

To add a post, simply enter text in the box under ‘Post something to your group:’ and click the ‘Post’ button.

The post will instantly appear in the ‘Latest activity’ feed. To email the post, click the ‘Yes’ link next to ‘Email this to your members?’ and your post will be sent to everyone in the group. It works just like the ‘Email Members’ feature in Group Tools.

This is our first step and we’re looking forward to your feedback to make enhancements. Remember, this feature is only available to Organizers.

Leave your comments below to let us know how you’re using this feature and what would make it better.

Thanks!
- Matt, Justin, Gary H., Wayne and Teresa
