Update to Meetup Group ratings
We’ve updated the way a Meetup Group’s rating is calculated. A lot of Organizers and members were confused as to how their group’s rating was calculated as the number always seemed to fluctuate. Another issue we heard was when some members rated a Meetup, they didn’t know they were effecting the group rating.
To simplify things, we made the group rating an average of all of your Meetups’ ratings. For example, if you’ve had 3 Meetups and they were rated a 4, 4 and a 5, your group’s rating would be 4.3.
