Featured Book Meetup: reading The Hunger Games

It seems like it’s been a long time since a book/movie was sweeping the world as thoroughly as The Hunger Games has. It’s everywhere! Everyone’s reading it, seeing it, blogging about it, preparing the foods mentioned in it… you name it.

If you, too, read the book and are now driving your friends crazy, never fear! You’ll probably only need to look as far as your nearest Book Club Meetup Group in order to find others who will share your desire to analyze further. The odds are ever in your favor for finding one.

In just the past 30 days, there have been over 170 Hunger Games-related Book Club Meetups. From Madison, Wisconsin to Woodbridge, Virginia, from London to Chicago, and from St. Louis to Sacramento, there is just no shortage of Meetuppers excitedly discussing Katniss, Peeta, Haymitch, archery, and lamb stew.

You can even find groups like The Geek Club in San Jose, California that are combining a trip to the movies with their book discussion. The complete Hunger Games experience!

If you’re feeling industrious, your Book Club Meetup Group can also get started discussing the next two books in the trilogy, as the South Orange County Women’s Book Club and The Royal Oak International Book Club did.

Happy Meetups to everyone from Meetup HQ, and happy reading too!
