Book Clubs: 1K Club April

Book Clubs don’t have to hold enormous individual Meetups to provide a huge benefit to their members. In fact, many Organizers specifically limit their RSVP numbers so that discussions are as inviting and productive as possible.

But by consistently organizing Meetups, Book Clubs can still reach some really amazing milestones. Check out these three Meetup Groups who have achieved some pretty awesome numbers these past thirty days.

Books that Make You Go Hmmm…

Based here in NYC, “Books that Make You Go Hmmm…” has wide-reaching appeal; reading everything from Jane Austen, Stephen King, Shakespeare, Neil Gaiman, and Dean Koontz, to nonfiction.

San Francisco Travel Book Club and Lectures Series
This San Francisco, CA Meetup Group is featured in our Book Club Organizer Resources due to their innovative format, appealing to “seasoned globetrotters and armchair travelers alike.”

1,000 RSVPs
The Great Escape Book Club

This Phoenix, AZ Meetup has an excellent system of holding two Meetups a month—a Saturday morning and a Monday evening one—so that members with varying schedules can attend.

Congrats on joining the 1K Club! That’s a heck of a lot of pages turned.
