New Feature: Give your Meetups a fresh coat of paint!
We just launched a brand new way for Organizers to customize the color scheme, background and banner for their Meetup Groups.
Organizers can preview it and play with what’s new on their Meetup Groups right now. These changes will go into effect for all Meetup Groups on April 30th.
There will also be cosmetic changes made across the platform, so Meetups are easier to read and navigate.
Here’s a roundup of what’s new:
Bigger, bolder, clearer
Meetup Group names will appear larger, bolder and centered at the top of the page, and all text boxes within Group pages will be given a universal font with a light background.
New color palettes
We know how tricky it can be to find the right mix of colors to match your Meetup’s personality, so we’ve taken out the guesswork with a new collection of complementary color palettes. Organizers can choose from available combinations, or make a unique color palette of their own.
More control over background images
Organizers can create a unique full page background for their Meetups by uploading a photo through the toolbar. The settings also allow Organizers to easily stretch, tile or center the photo for a perfect fit.
Organizers can preview these new customization options, color palettes and settings live right on their page.
We know how much pride Organizers take in every aspect of their Meetups. We hope these changes help Organizers create an online presence as inviting as their Meetups, without all the extra work.
